I have the pleasure of building a few homes around our town. It is something I enjoy and attempt to do thoughtfully. I also represent different developers and builders as a broker, assisting with the marketing and representation aspects of what is my main business. I have a passion for people, negotiating and real estate brokerage. It has been and continues to be a real career. At heart, when I build, it affords me the opportunity to let my creative juices flow. For me, building a home is a creative endeavor and it feeds my inner artist. At the very dawn of my work life I aspired to be an artist not a businessperson. My brother, mother and sister are all artists in assorted mediums. All successful in their own way. My brother turned his passion as an artist into a legacy project that will last well beyond his lifetime. Visit Chateau Orquevaux on Instagram to understand what he now does as the founder and director of his artist residency program. This week I have the pleasure of representing another home for the gentlemen at Bentley Building Corp. They are working on another terrific Concord project on Sunnyside Lane in the West End. They have contributed to our town in terrific ways having built neighborhoods such as Finigan Way and many more over my career and life in our town. I have dear friends on Finigan Way who are grateful for their home and neighborhood and have enjoyed their Bentley built home since the dawn of that neighborhood. I have many other clients living in homes that Bentley has built and all have positive things to say about the construction quality and the company’s character when it comes to builder’s warranties and their overall experience. The neighborhood on Sunnyside Lane consists of some well-cared for older homes and soon to be six homes (two additional built and sold on Pond Street already) that will be and are being built by Jim Kelly from Bentley. He is a thoughtful and characterful man with a wealth of building knowledge and a passion for the work. He runs a tight construction site, pays attention to the small details and meets his construction schedule time and time again. I can honestly say I enjoy working with him and am grateful for our relationship. He is mature in every aspect of what he does and is a family man at heart. I have brokered three home sales on the street already and now a fourth with 41 Sunnyside. This home is a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath Colonial with a finished basement. In every way it meets the demands of any buyer who is on the search for a well built home on a quiet side street. The main living space as well as several bedrooms come with the benefit of terrific views of protected land. Warner’s Pond access by right, at the end of Sunnyside, allows for easy use and enjoyment of the Pond. When my boys were young we would ice skate and fish here for countless hours. In addition, one can easily access Rideout Park and West Concord Village from this terrific location. I always hire a designer to work with buyers to make the selection process a joyful event. Bentley is more than fair when it comes to allowances for selections so it makes the buyer’s experience that much more enjoyable. Give me a call if this home sounds interesting to you and I will do all I can to fill you in further or show you the property. If you are working with a buyer’s agent, feel free to have them reach out to me.
